Using an Answer Key at the end of the file

Inline vs. answer key comparison

  • Specifying answers inline makes it easy to verify the correct answer
  • An answer key makes it easy to print or distribute a valid assessment

If you prefer specifying correct answers with an answer key rather than inline:

  1. remove all asterisks (*) from existing questions
  2. type "Answers:" on a separate line at the end of the document
  3. include all of the answers in a corresponding numerically ordered list
